America’s oldest state park, Niagara Falls State Park, is a natural treasure showcasing local and regional history. Designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, the park features an interactive Visitor Center with interpretive displays and exhibits - along with the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, where you can explore miles of hiking trails, check out the 180-degree multi-screen theater, or scale the rock climbing wall. Four Mile Creek State Park is located just 15 minutes north of the mighty Niagara Falls, the park has hiking trails along the densely wooded bluffs and the marsh at the mouth of Four Mile Creek is home to fauna such as great blue herons, white tail deer and to flora such as stunning white trillium and greenbrier.

Reservoir State Park, Town of Niagara Route 31, is a favorite of local residents in Niagara County. The park has three tennis courts, eight baseball diamonds, two basketball courts, a roller hockey court and picnic facilities. It is also home to the largest softball complex in Niagara County. Winter visitors come to sled and cross-country ski. Part of the park is an overlook for the Robert Moses Power Plant Reservoir. Excellent fishing available in the Reservoir.

The 950 acre park has a half-mile sandy beach for swimming, adjacent 80 slip marina with both seasonal and transient boat slips, fishing access, car-top boat launch, multiple canoe/kayak launches, bike and nature trails, nature center, playgrounds, picnic areas, athletic fields, horseshoe pits, an 18 hole championship disc golf course, an 18-hole championship golf course. In winter, visitors can snowmobile by permit, cross-country ski, snowshoe, sled or ice fish. Water fowl hunting is allowed in season by permit.
